dependency graph for fast overview of scene releationships
I currently find it very cumbersome to view relationships, for example if I want to find all siblings.
Something similar to 3ds max's scene graph would be great.

yep, schematic view is a life saver for things like posing characters fingers whose armatures are probably hidden away beneath the mesh.
particularly if you can lay out the schematic nodes in the form of a human for example, really fast workflow.
In previous (pre-2.5) versions of Blender, this was built into the Outliner. It was called the "OOPS" view. With a bit of clever scripting, the current Node Editor could probably be repurposed to do this nicely.
