Eevee material default settings

Some Eevee material default settings are not justified in my opinion.

For example when you create a transparent material, you need to switch Settings > Blend Mode and Shadow Mode from Opaque to Alpha. Shouldn't Alpha be enabled dy default?

When you create a glass material, you need to enable Screen Space Refraction in the material settings, and in Render, enable Screen Space Reflections and Refraction.

When you create a light, you probably need to enable Contact Shadows as well.

And some other settings that I may miss...

Shouldn't all these options be enabled by default?

Why would you want to make the material more complicated when you don't need it...

* @Retmia * do you mean it in a sarcastic way? because, yes, that's what I wonder... not sure about what all these options are for (and several others in Eevee), or at least why they are not activated by default, do people really need to set to Opaque for example when they make a transparent material? I'm not a big technician so I may miss something but it seems to me like uselessly complicated...

* @moonboots * It's not meant sarcastic. I just think materials are harder to render when all the things are activated. So when you are making a material where you don't need that, i think there is no reason to do that.

* @Retmia * Sure, but for all the examples that I give, what's the purpose? For example, in what circumstances wouldn't you need to activate Alpha Blend when you create a transparent material?
