Add join area to view - area menu

Hello, i think will be great if we can have Join window in View/Area menu. That way we can assign shortcut and use it easier then chasing cross line and press RMB. At the moment there is option to add shortcut as well when press RMB on cross line but it's not working for some reason. Please consider add Join window option in View/Area menu. Thank you.
