Give Us Fishing hooks not just the Fish
Please record some of you C++ coding process from zero to hundred and show us how we can hand on developing. Reading documentation is help full but not enough always beginning is very difficult. Videos can be very helpful. For example coding a very simple modifier or composition node, material, Tool or anything else. I have hundreds of Ideas I can write them here, but I want to do them by myself and improve my experience.

i get your point, though these are quite complex subjects. As a coder myself you should be able to read the code you try to work on. Start with plain reading find the structure of the book (and yes its huge), then a landscape will unwind. It would require lots of time to do that, you then start with simple bug fixxing, to get used to how their update system works. If all goes well by now youl create new stuff, new ideas. (PS i'm not a blender coder, but this is the general pattern when i start a new code job somewhere).
@Peter Boos: Yeah you are right and I am already doing that (reading and reading more), but everyone is not patient like me. This suggestion is for make more as possible interested people involved.
I personally would love a video series explaining the code base/ introducing it to new developpers. It should be geared towards c++/ python literate users and help them to get right on into it.
