Would be nice if adding keys in graph editor changed selection to last key created
I'm finding that when I add keys in the graph editor I want to immediately manipulate those keys. However, I have to deselect all, then select the keys I just created, then manipulate. This is a very slow process.
Ctrl+LMB A RMB on key G
In the 3D viewport I can extrude using the same idea (CTRL+LMB), and it automatically leaves the newly created point selected. This is a much faster workflow, especially when creating a bunch of keys at once.
Can we have an option for this in the graph editor?

Consider it done :)
Just committed this to master - it should be available in the latest development builds from tonight/tomorrow.
that's so awesome, thank you! :)
I was playing with it this evening, and the behavior works exactly as expected when using ctrl+lmb!
I added a comment to github, but figured I could post it here as well.. essentially I found it so useful, that when adding keys other ways (i.e. with auto-keyframe, or just hitting "i"), and the behavior wasn't as this new ctrl+LMB, it was very disturbing.
It would be great if this were consistent across all key creation.. so when I add a new key either in the dopesheet, or in the graph editor it will select the newly created key(s) and deselect the previously selected ones.
This may need to be a global preference.
maybe you might need to add a new proposal?, though I love what you're accomplishing for us animators
Hi, I think your step can more less, like flow: Ctrl+LMB (create new key) RMB(select new key and move by drag )
you don't need press A to deselect, just press RMB to select new one, and not need G too, the drag RMB can move by directly. but if graph editor can only select the new key will more nice
