.

@ErminOS, yes, I agree.

@L0Lock MarkDown actually supports almost all of what I wrote, obviously there will be need for some kind of parser, if used

* @chiaravalle1002 * The goal of Markdown is only to provide to the user a simple way to describe text formatting, it has nothing to do with RTF itself.

* @-L0Lock- * I see your point, it's valid. Well then, RTF is what we miss so far. Is it?

I checked out, at now, we're just missing:

  • Stroke/Fill material
  • Sub/Super-script
  • Define/Undefine style down to the single character (mix styles in a text object)
  • Paste with/without style (maybe ctrl+v with style, ctrl+shift+v without style?)
  • Double underline (so that each underline can be offset, giving double strike-through, or under and over-line, etc)

Thanks so much for giving us this!!! =)

So, anyone interested in doing this so far?

If this will be implemented, it also should allow pasting simple RTF from the clipboard :) Or even better - allow 2 pasting modes: with and without formatting!

I don't see what Markdown has anything to do with this, but the text object sure needs a big rework.
