The display of wireframes on background images seems to be working weird.
Its my first post here so excuse me if ill have to reformat it or if i did something else wrong.
So i noticed that when i was working with a background image i could barely see the wireframe of the model i was working on and started tweaking the settings. After some messing around i came to the conclusion that there seems to be a problem with displaying wireframes on background images when x-ray is turned on... seems almoust like the background image display in the back has the priority over the wireframe in the front. The interaction beetwen the x-ray setting and the background image setting seems incredibly weird overal as x-ray can show you the blackened faces but not the wireframe itself. In the end i couldnt find any workable configuration. Anyone knows if this is working as intended or is it perhaps a bug?

This seems more like a support request or bug report, so it would be more appropriate to post on the Blender Artists forums or on developer.blender.org , if it's a bug. This site is for proposing ideas for new features in Blender.
@Jason van Gumster: understood. Thanks
