Additional Node Tags for Search
When dragging off a pin and releasing Blender pops up the context-aware search menu (sooo grateful for this feature, btw), it would be great if when searching there could be tags the search mechanism looks through for matches too.
For instance, I drag off a float pin and I want to multiply, It would be nice if hitting * on the keyboard would show the multiply-related nodes instead of having to enter 'mul', etc.
It would also be nice if other nodes with industry-standard equivalents (Combine/Separate XYZ/RGB for instance), could be searched by their more standard names (Make/Break, etc.)
If these tags could be defined by default and could be modified by users that would be a perfect solution.

The "standard" name thing is probably not going to happen. It would make absolutely zero sense from the perspective of Blender or Blender users unless they change the name of the actual node itself.
Node Wrangler has some math shortcuts to multiply selected nodes. I'd also recommend the node tabber addon which gives much faster search function like typing mm for math multiply
