Add Constraint (With targets) improvement
When Add constraint (with targets) is used while only having the active bone selected, an empty is created on the bone head's location and assigned to the constraint as target. Great for on-the-fly IK chains and pinning mechanisms.
However, due to the empty only copying the location, it's not very useful for scale and rotation affecting constraints. Copy Transforms f.e. ruins the current pose, so a potential 1-click operation turns into multiple trips from pose mode to object mode WHILE disabling and re-enabling the constraint in order to match the transforms, it's just a real mess. This would be my no.1 use case because pinning disconnected bones like that would be extremely fast and versatile.
There's also issues with certain constraints needing the empty to spawn to the tail of the bone, but it still spawns on the head, with obviously horrible results. IK spawns correctly on the tail, but Damped Track and Stretch to don't, so they would need that lengthy tedious setup again, making the automatic empty pointless.
TL;DR: The empty target that "Add Constraints" creates by default should copy all transforms of the owner bone, making it ACTUALLY convenient. Head & tail spawning behaviour is also inconsistent with most likely use case of each constraint.
