Legacy support for WebM video VP8
There's a feature missing from Blender which is mentioned as working in the Blender Manual:
docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/files/media/video_formats.html
WebM is a lightweight lossy video format with alpha support. It's a fantastic open source format for real time, but Unity 2018.1.2 does not support VP9, only VP8. Working in a corporate setting, we need legacy support for open source formats to work properly with our projects.
Can you please add a radiobox option for VP8.
Optionally, please ensure alpha works. That doesn't seem to work either.

Blender uses ffmpeg as one of its encoding software, which supports a lot of codecs and a lot of formats .
Sadly, because of how Blender manages its video output settings, you can't use ffmpeg to its full power. Right now, Blender could do a lot of things because it uses ffmpeg which can do a lot of things, but it doesn't let the user to do so. So for each "thing" the user may want to use from ffmpeg, Blender has to create a UI for it, give new options, new settings, etc.
A simple way to avoid such thing would be to simply make a form of "custom ffmpeg output" option where there's just a text input and the user can write down any ffmpeg command he likes. But that's not being heard so far.
