Quick Edit Instanced Collection
Collection Instances are very powerful, though editing them can be cumbersome considering you have to dig through the Outliner for the source every time you want to make a change.
I propose an added "quick edit" feature where a single keystroke brings you to the source collection in an empty space (similar to hitting "/" for local view). This would allow a quick in-and-out way to edit them without disrupting workflow.

there are addons that do this already and work well, but I would prefer a more direct/dedicated approach, instead of moving to a scene, work more like a group edit, and in place.
