Time offset animation modifier
Offset animation in time using animation modifier. This would allow for non destructive time offset of linked looping animation.
Currently as far as I know only possible by duplicating NLA strips with linked animation.
I believe it would be usefull if this modifier would be implemented in NLA strip level as well as animation curves level.

It require a special solution to operate frames, keyframes blender.community/c/rightclickselect/Pj6z/
I don't understand how that suggestion relates to mine.
It was bad link I think.. but also related due "loop". blender.community/c/rightclickselect/m2Qr/ Imagine case where you have 1000 frames, and for all timeline you must repeat some action, eg. like blinking light in room. Then you must repeat some signal for all frames in case just 2 to 5 need to repeat. Then this same if you have movie clip in object as texture when is cyclic.
Sorry I still don't follow. I'm guessing you're pointing out some optimizing problem but I don't really get it.
Not exaclty. The NLA is linear for whole time line in case not need, coz can be looped instance, but lack of support around.
