Display Grid On Top
I'm trying to block out a scene from above, but it's hard to gauge distance at a glance when the grid is always covering objects in orthographic view. I'd like to be able to have the grid always be visible without having to use x ray, which diminishes the visibility of the scene I'm working with.
While X ray works, I feel like it's a bandaid solution that requires constant toggling

I thinking then whole class should have something like "Z depth" or "X depth", "Y depth" to be front, back, etc. But regarding code not sure is pure blender core or gsls atached solutions.

Sometimes I try to block out a scene for a DnD map and this would be a huge help for that
