Selection tools for painting
If we could select colors by color, layer, etc in texture paint mode I would not have to use Gimp or Krita so often.

It would be most helpful to other users and developers if your proposal would include a more clear description of how this idea would work in Blender's interface. It would also be best if you include mock-up images that show where users could access these features and the basic workflow that they'd use.
