A Sum Node with a socket for unlimted summands

Screenshot 2024-02-12 205927.png

Similar to the Join Geometry node one that just adds everything up, to remove the clutter when adding up many values at once. Something similar could be done for all the base math operations.

This seems like a duplicate of blender.community/c/rightclickselect/BnEQ .

It is a nice idea, but maybe it could still be the Math node in the "Add" mode but with the input as shown in the op image instead of a separate node called "Sum" to preserve consistency. Also with the clamp option as it already has.

blender.community/c/rightclickselect/BnEQ/ Similar suggestions. I really like these

I reckon it could also work with substraction? Perhaps there are other operations that could benefit this? And perhaps it could work on floats, vector and color data too.

Add; Subtract; Multiply; Minimum; Maximum. I believe all this operations could be implemented in this node.
