Allow hidden objects within a collection to be selected with the "Select objects" command.
When working in blender I organize objects made up of multiple pieces in collections and often times I will have some meshes hidden within them. For example if I am working with physics and I have a complex high poly mesh I will have a really simple mesh hidden so it doesn't get in the way visually. However when I have to move the whole collection of objects the hidden meshes stay in place since they weren't selected (right click on collection > select objects).
Sometimes the fix is as simple as just moving them back (e.g. current object to cursor), but other times when the hidden mesh is a parent of other objects it messes everything up and the only choice is to ctrl+z or to use a backup.

I'll make it simple for you:
That's it. All problems are gone.
This, this is my biggest gripe with Blender..
If you need the behaviour of hidden objects not beeing selected there is a switch specifically for it so bundling that with visibility makes very little sense.
Yes please explain why Blender has this behavior. I cannot select objects even though I see them in the Outliner. I can't do obvious operations such as copy a settting to all the other objects when they are invisible. This includes the setting for "visibility"! If I manage to make an animated visibility that hides them all the time I'm really stuck and can't fix it!
