Align Vertex to Selected

Hello.

It seems the only quick way to align a vertex that is at an angle while keeping it's normal is to use custom transform orientations.

I'm looking at maybe being able to select a few vertices that you would like the next vertex selection aligned to, while keeping the normal correct similar to edge slide, and keeping the first vertices in the same place.

Select vertex 1: step1_align.png

Select vertex 2: step2.png

Select the vertex to be aligned: step3_align.png

Align Vertex result: finish.png

Let me know if there is a quick way to do this without creating a custom orientation every time. Always learning new things with Blender.

Thanks!

Turn on the looptool addon, and there is a function gstretch prnt.sc/1tujng2 then change the method to spread and you will be happy prnt.sc/1tujpe7

Thanks. That seems to be a nice workaround.
