Turn on/off node box (frame layout)

Right now I don't see easy way to disable/enable node box (frame layout) that is connected in composition (and for composition and viewer output) , etc. I expecting to easy "neautralisation" for function that have added node box, eg. image to image as some "presets" without deleting box in some chain, but just turn off/on option. It can be a chexbox next to title or something like this by RMB in contex menu for box.

whar Do You mean by node box ?

Frame, or just a single node?

Are You just talking about Muting nodes?

Frame, my mistake, coz calling this layout box. docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/interface/controls/nodes/frame.html It's should works, as mute for frame? Coz not working, now not sure.. it's bug or lack of feature for this. Edited title.

zuorion

Okay so You want to: easly mute whole "frame"

Yes. Pressing "M" while having selected frame should mute all nodes inside frames.

Yes. It Should also work from right click menu.

Meanwhile you can select them "manually" by using "]" shortcut after selecting frame.

Is this what You wanted, or something else?

I also don't know why it is called like "frames", that makes no sense.

Well one of the definitions of "frame" is:

a rigid structure that surrounds or encloses something such as a door or window.

So, technically accurate, it is a box that frames stuff. Albeit, it might not be the best name in a software where we already have other very different things named frames.

Yes. thats my exact reason why i thinks thats bad name. If You do searching frame inside node editor it gives confusing results.
