Breakdown frames should slide with keyframes
Keyframes marked as breakdown frames should use keyframes around them as reference points to slide to. Sort of like scaling, but without having to select.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature request-- looking through the code it seems breakdowner has functionality LIKE this but it's not implemented in graph editor / dope sheet. Also breakdowner doesn't work with objects and only manipulates the current keyframe in relation to other keyframes.

The Blender Manual states that the keyframe types are just for visualisation, so in that sense there shouldn't be any difference in behaviour.
How do you propose to let the user choose between the current and your expected behaviour?

This is generally what I was referring to but I believe that's just code for breakdowner in armature pose mode. So it's similar (in that it calculates the slide in reference to the positions of other keyframes), but not exactly the same.
Honestly I feel like this should just be default functionality with no option to revert. If someone tags keyframes to be breakdown frames I believe they'll expect the behavior to be like this since breakdown frames SHOULD be relative to two keyframes (or two extremes). If they don't want that behavior they should tag them as keyframes. I understand there might be some legacy confusion with older blender files and in such a case where the user has hundreds of random breakdown frames and this functionality breaks their animation (or creates undesirable results) I would suggest reverting blender versions.

Why not. But it should be something easy to enable/disable too, within 2clicks. So you can still move a keyframe and keep breakdowns's positions if needed.
@loic.dautry: That's a good point about being able to move keyframes without disturbing breakdown frames. I suppose a property in the dopesheet properties panel?
