Snap Cursor to View
Imagine you're exploring a scene, thinking of where to place a specific character, which will be looking some specific way. Then you enter fly/walk mode with Shift+F and find the perfect position/view.
Now you want to add an empty there, or add an object, or do whatever, exactly where you're looking at.
You can do a workaround: Add a new camera, then set this new camera as the active camera, then to Align Camera to View (Ctrl+Alt+Numpad 0), then select the camera, and then Cursor to Selected, and finally delete the camera and set the previous camera as the active camera. It's a hack and you lose your previous camera position (unless you have more cameras, but still not good).
The solution is a new "Snap Cursor to View" operator, that would solve this problem gracefully.
