A checkmark doesn't make sense as the save symbol, at least not always ...
The Checkmark is always displayed as the save symbol. But I think it does not always make sense.
I'd suggest these options:
- Only display the checkmark if the latest changes were saved
- Or change it in to a USB stic
- Or: Display a USB stic when the latest changes weren't saved, and display the checkmark if they were
What do you think, and which option would you prefer?

Indeed. I find the check-mark by "Save" to be virtually pointless, if not distracting. It would be nice if it represented some useful information, or was just removed.

I just created a USB Stick Icon. It looks like this:
I think it would fit very well with the other Icons. And I think it looks almost like this Icon was made by the same Person as the other Icons.
What do you think of this Icon as the new save Icon? Should I submit it? If yes, how can I submit it?
