Visual Effects ( Maybe Port from Game Engine)
By Visual Effects i mean something like unreal engine , where you have planes with animated uvs / many planes with images that move , giving the illusion of an Explosion , or Healing , Fire ecc , all by still keeping performance.
One Might say , Just use Particles and Physics ..
but if you want to do good fast visual effect expecially like a game engine can , it Improves upon the performance .
So many times Particles and physics were so laggy and unportable to other places.

Blender is in needs of some good preset examples.. I wish there was an organized DLC for everything, similar to the Eevee example scenes.
Usually, these sprite animations in games are pre-generated with (you guessed it) particles and other effects. This is all doable now... but it really only helps performance if you're playing the same sprite animations all the time. This typically isn't desirable for non-game animations.
mostly, are animation UV still possible? i hope they will be possible and more intuitive than before ! :)
mmh i should try to find some tutorials, the only ones i can find about Particles are tutorials that are pretty heavy on the machine , like bloodsplatters and blood flowing on a mesh , is less machine consuming if its "premade" and its on planes, only things i find are about using physics and bounding boxs ,aka simulating , which makes it unintuitive
Mostly if blender had its own pre-generated visual effects that aren't performance heavy on the blender marked for free or payed would be pretty good (if it isn't already there i'm going to check soon)
@porkeehunporki6669999: This sounds like an opportunity for an add-on pack that someone could sell on Blender Market. Someone still has to make the effects in the first place.
