Origin to footprint
Origin to object footprint (origin goes to the center of a circumscribed sphere around your object, as an alternative to origin to geometry). I really wish I could move an objects origin to the center of its footprint, especially when I have "lopsided" geometry.

Would be good to have in order to quickly snap to face object. Useful when placing many props on the ground, or on shelves, tables etc...
* @ Lsscpp * See implementation of this exact feature in Prusa Slicer help.prusa3d.com/es/article/place-on-face-tool_6337
Idk how it works but it's open-source. I suspect they're just doing a 3D convex hull
This seems like a very arbitrary thing. Wouldn't it be better to use origin to volumetric center ? since you can do some quick calculations using octrees and quickly determine it and this would serve the purpose of finding the center of mass of an object ( assuming homogenous materials ), which would be useful for animation since the COM is usually the pivot of free rotation. edit: obvious drawback would be that this would only make sense on manifold geometry
