Particle system to geometry nodes
Blender's particle system is able to support many usecases. With the inception of the geometry nodes , Blender's particle system got new abilities, eg. nested particle systems or seamlessly combining a particle system with mesh modification.
It comes at a cost of operating on a lower level of abstraction: to reproduce settings which were easy to do using a particle systems modifier, one now needs to learn to use many of the geometry nodes settings and ways to combine them.
I propose to introduce a way to convert a current particle system to a geometry nodes one without changing its behavior: this way, a user familiar with particle systems or using a legacy system based on particle systems (eg. a popular modular tree addon ) could benefit from the geometry nodes without having to reproduce the particle systems defaults.

yeah i just had this- Object modifier stack: -Subdiv -Emitter -Geometry nodes
But nothing i did in geo nodes had and effect on the meshes generated from the particle system. I would expect the operations to be slow --- but not that it didnt work at all. That was a shame
