Edge Slide for Curves
press G key twice to slide curve points along their paths like youd be able to do it with vertices on edges. Would be good for positioning of curves and is a plausible thing to work.

But with control handle wouldn't moving the curve point actually change the curve path at every moment while it's being moved?
This is what I thought, since beziers work in a special mathematical way.
I think maybe what they really want is a way to add a control point with a live preview via click and drag and have the newly added point not change anything about the existing shape.
But for poly curve it should work?
