Pie Menus addon, add simmetrize menu.
It would be nice to have a new pie menu in the "pie menus addon" just for the symmetrize mesh option (in edit mode), where you can choose the axis. I've seen it in this video and it looks really handy

We really need an underlying better way to create our own shortcut menues and pie dials beyond the one "Add to quick favorites" option we got. And I mean without having to code on in Python because even beyond the problem that not every blender user really is able to code their own manu in Python it's also super invonveinient if you don't want a very specific thing to happen in there, like a Macro or a specialized custom execution of a script. I think I made a mockup somewhere and it even got picked up for GSoC 2020 but then was never integrated, sadly: wiki.blender.org/wiki/User:Tempo/GSoC2020/Final_Report
There might also be one or more proposals on RCS already, as well.
I don't think blender controls addons.
