Render current view (override viewport/render display)

I think it would be great if we could initiate a render of just the visible objects in scene, overriding the options for viewport/render display.

I know that you can control what is seen in the render by toggling on/off the object displays in the outliner, and making collections then again disabling/enabling them, but this requires too much planning and organization.

It would be so much simpler to quickly select a few objects, then isolating them with the "/" key, then press like "render current view". Or maybe have a scene ready, then select a few object then just hit "H" to hide and render it.

Yes I know. can you show me the post you made? This new type of rendering viewport would be so useful and quicker to use.

Is there any update on this? Should we post this again?
