Maybe even more the label text outside of the frame, so it floats above?

You can select the frame, open the N-panel, go to the Node section and uncheck "Shrink"

Perhaps it would be best to allow for a configurable "padding" property that could apply spacing around
all
content in a frame. (Similar to how the label size can be currently be configured.)

may be not a space, but count timers as content.
