Animation : Manipulate "motion path" point directly from 3d view
The idea is simply to let users, whether experienced or not, manipulate animation curve points directly in the 3D viewport, using a visual XYZ representation with colored lines. Moving the anchor points allows for real-time adjustments to the animation curve in a more visual and intuitive way, without always needing to open the Graph Editor for quick edits.
This feature already exists in a number of other software packages, and I think having it in Blender would really be a plus. For example, UE5.6 includes it natively, and from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t seem to be very demanding in terms of performance. What I’m suggesting is basically to bring the same functionality into Blender. Since motion curves already exist, it would just be about making the points editable along the XYZ axes directly in the 3D view. And updating in real time without need to re-click again and again in the "Calculate path" button
