New Math node operations?

I've been in the process of translating fairly complex equations into manageable node trees that, when plugged into the density socket of a Volume Cube node, show a 3-dimensional representation of said equations. However, I'm hitting a wall because these equations are starting to introduce factorials and partial derivatives, and I'd really like to avoid manually calculating each value.

Heck, if more operations like factorials were available for the Math node, the potential for their implementation could invite a great wave of innovation.

After looking up what factorials are, I made a very easy (4 nodes) node group using the 4.0 repeat zone that seems to output the correct factorial based on the loop iterations (not useful for current stable, I know, and I feel it was too easy for an innumerate like me so I must therefore be missing something). Haven't quite wrapped my head around partial derivatives, but I wonder if a solver node group couldn't be made for that too.

This isn't to say "make it yourself". Just thinking having node groups for more complex mathematical functions shipped with Blender would be a better solution, save people re-inventing the wheel, and might be more flexible than adding them to the math node operations.

What sort of innovations can you imagine coming from having these nodes? Not sure how many people here can visualise the artistic possibilities. I can't.
