Radial Symmetry for Mirror Modifier
Radial Array modifier does not offer the same behavior as a "radial symmetry" would.
Bisect and Flip are not available.
Rotating the object to be mirrored would break the relation to the empty and position the objects elsewhere. Many parameters need to be tweaked for common simple adjustments such as position.
Using N/2 Mirror modifiers for N number of radial symmetries is only feasible for low numbers, and a bit tricky to maintain. For odd numbers of symmetry it is only possible if the initial object is symmetric to begin with.
Both methods don't provide the speed that such a common use-case would benefit from.
Scripts and Geo-Nodes can provide a solution, but again, for such a very common use case it seems odd there is no native and convenient method.
Example: Try modelling a radially symmetric pentagonal cylindrical object and take note of the setup time required. Change it to be hexagonal afterwards and take note how much time modifying the modifiers involved is required
