Autoroute Noodles
Electronic PCB (Printed Circuit Board) CAD design world has auto Trace (Noodle) routing. As you draw a Noodle the software autoroutes around Nodes. If you move a component (Node) the Noodle will find the most effectuate route from point A to B. With the Blender Foundation working on "Everything Nodes" I wish they would adopt something to help layout and document Nodes.

more applicable example might be something like this: forums.unrealengine.com/unreal-engine/marketplace/1647213-electronic-nodes-wiring-style-for-blueprint-and-material-editors
* @testure * Agreed. One of these screenshots should be used instead. The one that the OP posted is far too disjointed from the appearance of nodes in blender, and thus confusing to most. I'd totally use this example instead.
EDIT: it seems the OP's examples are displaced by the nodes. So maybe like the example in your link, but the spaghetti does not go through the nodes. That way you don't visually lose track of the link.
* @testure * These looks extraordinary, I would be love to be able to choose between these and the current noodles !
