Multi-Res modifier - Add "Unsubivide All" button, or..

Right now, within the multi-res modifier. The button "Unsubdivide" only undoes [1] subdivision of the model it is applied to.

Ideally, if I were to be importing my high poly mesh from a program like ZBrush. I would like to retrieve all "possible" subdivisions at once. Pressing the button "Unsubdivide" is eating up too much time for me during a production day, and a day of hobby use.

My proposal is to add a "Unsubdivide All" button so pressing it once. Blender will check how many times it can Unsubdivide my mesh until it cannot any further.

Therefore giving me, the many levels of subdivision I can use to cycle up and down without waiting. Or, repeating. Saving me possibly 6-8 steps of waiting & re-pressing.

This is already implemented with the "Rebuild Subdivisions" button on the modifier.

You can slide the subdivision value down to zero in one click motion, wouldn't that be enough?

Sorry you missed the point. The point is, pressing "Unsubdivide" does not "reveal" all possible subdivisions. If my mesh was imported into Blender from ZBrush/Mudbox at subdivision level 8. Pressing that button should 'reveal' 8 available subdivision levels to "slide" down to 0.

In the case with Blender, presently speaking. Pressing that button "Unsubdivide" only brought my mesh from subdivision 8, down to subdivision level 7. I want it do go down all 8 levels, so I can slide anywhere from 0-8 subdivisions.

There is an option called rebuild subdivision in multi res modifier...Probably that is what you are looking for...

No, there is no such thing. Please take the time and read the proposal. If you don't trust in it. Test it. Neither of which you clearly have done.
