"Cyclex X Pro Max Ultra". Frame Interpolation. Accelerating the rendering of animation in 10 times!!!
I recently discovered programs that create intermediate frames. Everything is good, but these programs lack different information to create intermediate frames more correctly.
Blender has been amazing lately with its rendering speed, and the next big step is to add interpolation for rendering.
How to technically accurately implement this functionality, I do not know, but I suspect that for the correct interpolation, you need passes such as:
Object Position - to know the pixel position from point A to point B.
Base color - in order to accurately represent colors, and not to create nonexistent.
Vector - to know the vector an object moves in.
(You may also need IDs for objects, a depth map, and possibly a normal map.)
Ideally this should be enough to correctly interpolate lighting/reflections, which during the rendering process is where the main computational resource is spent.
And for example the animation, where per frame it takes 1000 samples and if we had the opportunity to create interpolation of frames from 1 to N-value, it would speed up the rendering at least 2 times (4 times on average).
Of course this is probably all very difficult to implement as machine learning is probably needed and I doubt it will happen in the next 10 years, but it sounds like the future to me.

I use something similar, the program is called Flowframes there are still artifacts, as for interpolation creates a depth map of the visible image. I suggested a variant where we create an accurate depth map, using rendering passes, which will pass more accurate contours and therefore make a better quality picture.
