Grease Pencil Objects - Boolean?

Hi, I was wondering how and IF it would be possible to create some sort of boolean modifier for 2 grease pencil objects that would merge only the Fill color of the GP objects? It would probably need to work on: A. Same axis/location/plane (or how to call it) or B. In relation to the camera?

Example: 2 circles overlap each other, one has the modifier applied - while overlapping the second shape, the lineart inside the overlapping shapes 'dissolves' converting 2 GP shapes into 'one shape' but not one GP object.

It's probably a huge request, but that's the only feature I'm missing from a proper 2d cut-out pipeline. In Toonboom Harmony it's called Auto-Patch. Because at the moment GP is amazing only for cutout rigs without the lineart (like Disney's Tangled 2D) or hand drawn animation :(

If not possible ¯\_(T-T)_/¯

Cheers

This would be a great addition. Just some way to join grease pencil shapes together, so that you can have an overall outline would be really helpful for drawing more complex shapes (like plants etc) . My current process does this in Illustrator/Photoshop, but much prefer Blender! A bit like in this image : pro2-bar-s3-cdn-cf5.myportfolio.com/7d97cf92-f546-4dba-90be-13e3c4cdf4fa/6891cd8d-4b40-4c54-826f-b113755b7558_rw_600.gif

Agreed! This would be game changing. Adobe illustrator can also do this with pathfinder, but animating in illustrator is... challenging. Aftereffects can also do it for shape layers. So I'm hoping this sort of thing could be possible here.
