Drag and drop multiple images in node editor

Currently if you drag and drop multiple images from windows explorer or blender file browser to node editor, only one node will be created and the rest will be ignored image

(....and the box select is selecting the images which are not in the box area but are sequentially placed in file browser, as i just noticed while writing this post and looking at the captured gif)

This is not just related to the node editor. You cannot drag and drop multiple files into any part of blender :(

This will be part of 4.5, and can be marked as done!

yeah would be nice if it would generally work like that. it is a bit confusion, when you can do a thing in one context and think, WOW thats cool, only to find out that i works not or different in another context. i am aware, that the blenderfolks are working hard to make blender a nice experience. someone said, blender feels like maya, but fun :) i agree !

How on earth is this not a thing?! This just brought my switching process to a grinding halt.
