Porting the Alshaders to Blender
Hi, I'm still a noob in Blender/Cycles shaders but I am a V-Ray user and just discovered the Alsurface shader (originally developped for Arnold) that has just been ported by Vlado (main V-Ray dev) to V-Ray. So I thought it would be great if someone could port it to Blender too since they are an open source library. I think the most amazing is the Alsurface (sss shader) and the Alhair looks very interesting too.
To give you an idea, you can see a comparison I rendered in V-Ray of all the sss method in V-Ray: youtube.com/watch
I'll just let the description from the Alshader wiki tells you what it is:
alShaders provides a suite of shaders, procedural textures and utility nodes that forms a complete, production-oriented shader library for SolidAngle's Arnold renderer. For the latest downloads and documentation, please visit the website: anderslanglands.com/alshaders The library is developed by me, Anders Langlands, as a personal learning project and should in no way be associated with my employer. The library is released as open source under the MIT licence. Please see the licence section below for terms and conditions.

Which open source licence is AlShaders released under, and is it GPLv2 compatible?
