Corner knobs to open or close new panes / windows

Hi everyone, I find it very hard and frustrating to always have to find the exact corner to pull out or close a new pane or window in the UI. Can knobs be added in that corner so we don't have to click around that area to find the exact corner spot? it very frustrating to try close a pane and then you open a new one if you miss the corner. Thank you!
