Left click suggestions for general use

Now that left click select is default in Blender here's some thought I had to make things more usable and consistent.

(Using the move tool as an example but is a problem with other tools and gizmos.)

This mostly comes up in edit mode while selecting elements of a mesh. Normally I will have a gizmo always out while moving around vertices for speed, saving time from either switching to the tool or pressing G then locking axis.

A problem while the move tool is selected, is that left click dragging anywhere will move the tool, instead if feel this should use your current selection mode allowing you to quickly grab a bunch of vertices. Another is one I've mentioned previously,is that the gizmo can get in the way and stop selection of elements behind it, this could be solved by registering a left click as selection, and left click hold/drag and gizmo movement.

I think most important would be following the rule of left click drag empty space = box select(or current selection mode), across multiple modes (e.g. 3D view, UV editor, graph editor, dope sheet) would help make the default of left click select a lot more usable. Hopefully its still to come for 2.8 but thought it was worth a mention just in case it had been overlooked.

Thanks for taking the time to read.
