Include original name for nodes with multiple modes and make them searchable
Nested nodes like for example mix color or math or filter (in compositor) have very poor discoverability and can't be found with search or add menu.
If you for example don't know what difference node is actually subtype of mix node or what ping-pong is subtype of math you will have very hard time finding them without internet help.
Also actual mix subtype probably will need to be renamed into Blend because
Mix | Blend
will look less weird then
Mix | Mix

There are also inconsistencies between the various node editors with regards to searchability. In the Geonodes editor, the various modes are directly searchable, whereas in the Compositing nodes editor they are not.
True. As for the shader nodes, you can drag a socket and search for mixing modes from there, but not from the Add Node's search.
