Make "Delete" keyboard button work in outliner

I noticed that you can't press "Delete" in outliner to remove objects, similar to how you can do in the viewport. Pressing "Delete" does nothing in the outliner, you have to press "X" then pick "Delete", or right click then pick "Delete", one workaround i found is to select the object in the outliner then move your cursor to the 3d view and then press "Delete" and it works, but i find it weird why it isn't implemented.
