CAD, CAM, CAE openscad , open nurbs
this is perhaps the most ambitious feature request, to extend blender to CAD, CAM, CAE world. For this to happen it would be interesting if blender adopting as a creation of geometric objects the language openscad youtube.com/watch this language could be easily implemented by the nodes youtube.com/watch and from them evolved the related tools to get to something like Moment of Inspiration 3D youtube.com/watch in the manipulation of the nurbs

I did some research and someone has already thought about creating an addon of openscad for blender ... it would be a good starting point github.com/miguelitoelgrande/BlenderSCAD
