Cube Projection - Remember Last Cube Size
Right now when using Cube Projection for Unwrapping, it will set the Cube Size based on the object's bounding box every time you use it. Sometimes you want to set Cube Size to a consistent number (say 4.000, which ensures a texel density of 512px per unit when using a 2048px wide texture) and use it every time an unwrap is made on objects of vastly different sizes to keep texel density uniform across the scene.
It would be useful if Cube Projection included a checkbox to allow it to remember the last setting if desired.

great idea
Isn't the size just the bounding box of the cube? How can it be practically random if it is choosing the bounding box of what you are trying to unwrap?
Ah you're right, it's based on the bounding box of the object. I was trying to work out what it was based on. But it's still relative to the world scale so if set to a consistent value it will produce consistent scaling of the UVs for many different objects. Having a setting to remember previous setting would be useful since I'm constantly unwrapping objects with vastly different bounding box sizes that require consistent texel density. I can do it without this setting, but it would be much faster to have the option to remember last.

Would it be better to have some kind of preserve texel density option that can apply to more than one type of uv unwrap. Or an option somewhere in the uv editor to set texel density for selected?
It would be yes. I already have that option with the TexTools addon but it's not accurate on complex geometry with N-Gons, so I've had to resort to setting a consistent Cube Size. A "preserve texel density" option that applies automatically would be excellent. You must apply it manually every time with TexTools.
