Cut and paste mesh, etc.

Looks we have option to duplicate selected mesh, edges, but not cut and paste in other location (ctr+x and ctr+v) - I'm correct? If yes, then want suggest to offer this type function.

Why would you copy to memory, delete and paste at another location, when you can disconnect and move what is selected to another location ?

* @Ronan Ducluzeau * I thought the idea was to be able to copy from one object and paste in another object. Copy and paste would be perfect for this.

* @zorro.weaver * In that case, that would be identical to separate selection as another object and then, join it to desired object. You probably have translation adjustments to do, actually. But I don't think that a cut and paste solution would annihilate the step to precise location to paste and adjustments.

* @Ronan Ducluzeau * hmm.. coz want do this on this around area of his same object, eg. simple example: cube - subdivide, cut half of this, move this and add other part betwen. Why I should do more crazy operation like disconet, if I need just ctr+x/v. And.. have sens then select all by colour, create other type object from this.

* @zorro.weaver * more like parts of mesh in object and operate inside object, but in other object to. The Separation is not right way in my opinion.

You are right. That is faster. We have multiobject editing, now. We can directly change object edited without being forced to pass through object mode. It was not the case in old blender. But main problem is the lack of shortcuts in Edit mode. Ctrl X is currently used to dissolve and Ctrl V to display Vertiex Specials menu.

Yeah that should be a thing. It would be nice to simply ctrl+c a vertex and ctrl+v it in another mesh rather than having to: shift+d> separate selection>select other object>ctrl j. It would be so much more beginner friendly.
