click and drag to highlight text or triple click to highlight line
On the text editor its impossible to double click and drag to highlight text or triple click highlight an entire line. Double click and drag works in materials and everywhere other than the Text Editor

Triple click doe indeed work as a regular double click. But I can definitely click and drag on my side, maybe try to boot blender in CLI with
--factury-startupand see it if still does it there. And if it still doesn't work, head over the menu Help > Report a bug.
