A way for python to draw the layout of a single modifier somewhere else in the UI

Right now the only way to draw the layout of a modifier is to completely reconstruct the layout using UILayout , taking into account what inputs are hidden, when certain menu options are selected, etc, etc.

This is how addons like "Modifier List" draw their custom modifier UI: every layout for every single modifier has to be re-implemented with python.

That alone is very tedious for the built-in modifiers that Blender has, but with modifiers built with Geometry Nodes (and the new Essential modifiers coming in 5.0), it becomes practically impossible since you'd have to code the layouts for every GN modifier you create or import.

Yes, there is template_modifiers() , but that draws the entire modifier stack, not the layout of a single modifier.
