Keymap/key-bindings: support non-US keyboards better

The key that is pressed on the keyboard does not seem to correspond to what is searched after or what value is displayed. It would be nice if the support for non-US keyboards could be improved (I would like to map them as close to their "intended position" as possible but it is a bit hard right now).

In the image below I try to map "`" to "§" since it is closer to the position it has on a US-keyboard, but instead it is shown as "\".
