Procedural scratches texture
Hi,
I'd love to see the addition of a procedural scratches texture to Blender's node arsenal for Eevee and Cycles. For reference, there's a procedural scratches texture in Keyshot , and one in Cinema 4D . It works great to add quick realism to a material without the need for UV mapping.
My favorite reference is the procedural scratches texture in Keyshot, offering tapering at the outer ends and optional curvature.
Thanks!

They mention more tools for procedural texturing when their fund reaches beyond 30k
@Quinten.Pillen: Thanks, I was already planning to start funding Blender development one of these days.
@Metin Seven: Do it! It really helps the community and gives you a warm feeling inside knowing you're helping all of humanity make 3d stuff.
@dpdpforlife: I've already donated several times in the past years, but I'm now considering a regular donation (one of the badges).
Hey, this might be doable with some OSL, if you need it for a project. Also, I agree, additional procedural textures are always welcome!
Especially that using OSL in Blender, as of today, forces you to use only Cycles with CPU rendering. As it isn't working on eevee nor Cycle's GPU rendering.
@Josephbburg: Thanks. I don't need it for a specific project at the moment, but I would definitely frequently use it. And it would be great if it could be used in Eevee as well.
