Change the name of this thread
Can we change the name of this thread to something like "Blender Ideas" or "Feature requests"? I understand that someone was trying to be funny, but the name is not descriptive and makes it more difficult for newcomers to find where to post their ideas for blender development.

We don't want posts from newcomers. Use Blender daily for several months and participate in as many other Blender focused communities as you can find as much as possible. Eventually when you're discussing an idea elsewhere, if it's good, someone will suggest you post it over here.
I think you'd do well to listen to newcomers that use other 3D suites. Features lacking in Blender are the main reason professionals are not using it.
We know features are lacking in Blender. If you search before posting you'll find many years old proposals asking for things other 3D suites have had for 20 years. The best proposals come from people who have used other 3D suites for at least 5 years AND have used Blender for at least 1 year. Someone using Blender for a week and the making a proposal about obvious things THAT HAVE ALREADY BY PROPOSED MULTIPLE TIMES OVER MULTIPLE YEARS is just added noise.
