About the line-drawing function
DeepL It's been translated, so sorry if it's hard to read.
The lineart is currently generated as a "grease pencil" object, so it will not perform well in scenes with a lot of objects and polygons. freestyle is single-threaded, so it takes a long time to draw a single image.
The outlines produced by workbench are real time and include intersecting lines. However, drawing with eevee requires the use of a compositor or something similar, and there is no fine tuning.
I'm very grateful for all of them, and I can't thank the developers enough, but I can't deny that there is one thing missing from all of them that makes them practical.
In Japan an Anime studio, there is a line drawing software called "pencil+ 4" developed for max maya unity, which is useful to check the viewport with minimum performance and has all the functions. However, the soil is different, so I can not asking you to make it the same.
I think what we need now is to bring the outlines feature from workbench to eevee, and then to be able to set the width like in lineart or freestyle.

I too envy Pencil+, wish it was ported over to Blender. Freestyle needs to be multi-threaded. I tried workbench options for Line management, but NADA. LineArt is still a bit 'technical' in look. We need a Blender Movie project which is NPR focused with calligraphic lines as the motif. Adjusted by vectors movement like the Disney project. I know, I ask alot . . . .
